Yep, love my fluffy cat, he scared me yesterday....he normally goes out when we are not home but always turns up when we pull onto the drive, but the other day he didn't come home when we did and still hadn't turned up when we went to bed. He was there when we got up though

can i point out that we've have had fluffs since he was a little fluff ball along with his brother florrie, sorry to say florrie died quite young after eating something we think poisonous, he is now 7ish human years old tho not 100% certain of that. He is indeed a moody cat that also likes our company as when we are not here he normally goes out even at night when we goto bed, he never goes upstairs....foodwise he loves his asda own brand crunchies, ham and also worryingly cheese !!! oh and on the odd occasion he does bring round some birds and despite us giving him water he prefers rain water that stores in various hings in our garden thus proving hes rather stupid anyway thats fluffy and a brief history of his life

Fluffy cat has been poorly He started not wanting to eat and then didn't want to drink either and wouldn't come in the house so we took him to the vets who said he was very constipated so they would keep him in and see if they could sort him out and find the reason. She said he wasn't dehydrated which was good but they would put him on a drip and see if that helped him. They rang up this morning and said he was doing ok, but would need to be sedated for a procedure to clear him out and they would do an x ray at the same time to see if they could see a reason for it. His blood test was fine, which was good news. Hopefully they'll call soon and tell us we can pick him up this eve after work

well the vet rang and said that he was just coming round from the sedation and they'd cleaned him all out. The x rays showed nothing unusual but it appeared that he had been eating 'twig like' stuff which is probably what caused all the problems. They have kept him in tonight for observation but we should be able to pick him up tomorrow

Fluffy cat came home a few days ago and seemed to be absolutely fine, although i had never in my life seen such a smelly cat!!!!! He smells much better now and seems to still be ok, but didn't eat all his breakfast today which is unusual for him so i will be keeping an eye on him and if he still not eating much tomorrow i will ring the vets Really hoping he isn't developing the same problem again, they said it was a possibility because of his age (although i still think he's young, only 8).

Glad he's home Maybe if he's otherwise been give the all clear, it could be the stress of the vet visit that's causing him not to eat? Scoots behaves similarily if he ever has to go.

I don't think so as he has been home for a few days and apart from a little bit of sulking coz we wouldn't let him out for a couple of days he was eating well. He seemed to be fine. He ate all his food last night but then wasn't that interested in his breakfast, i think he's doing it on purpose to scare me lol.
